Leuven is about 18 km from our office in Tervuren and easy to reach via the E40 and the E314. Besides the historic centre along the Dijle, the city includes Heverlee, Kessel-Lo, Wilsele and Wijgmaal. Because of KU Leuven the housing market is unusual: a lot of property is rented out, homes change hands regularly and every district has its own character. We visit all parts of the city, and the neighbouring municipalities of Herent, Oud-Heverlee and Bertem as well.

Housing in Leuven is a mix of older townhouses and town homes in and around the centre, terraced houses in the residential areas, apartment buildings and plenty of student rooms and studios. Heverlee and Kessel-Lo have more residential streets, while Wilsele and Wijgmaal feel more like separate village centres within the city. Many buildings have been renovated or split into several units over the years, which makes the stock very varied.
