Which category applies to my property?
- Apartment or studio: a dwelling in a building with several dwellings, including a studio.
- Terraced house or duplex: a house in a continuous row, with a neighbour on both sides. We also count a duplex here.
- House: a semi-detached or detached house with a single dwelling, up to 400 m².
- House over 400 m²: a large home of more than 400 m². On request.
What is included in the price?
The price covers everything needed for a valid certificate: the site visit by a VEKA-certified type A energy expert, drawing up the EPC according to the official inspection protocol, registration in the Flemish Energy Performance Database and travel within our service area (30 km around Tervuren, Flanders only). There are no hidden costs.
What determines the price?
The exact price depends on several factors: the surface area of your home, the number of floors, the complexity of the installations (e.g. several heating systems) and how easily accessible the property is. Larger homes and villas require more measuring time and therefore a higher rate. For an exact price, you can request a free quote.
Why prices differ between providers
EPC prices are not the same everywhere. When comparing, look at what is included: is VAT included, are the site visit and registration part of the price, and is travel charged separately? With us, indicative prices are always excl. VAT, and travel within the service area is included.
