EPC in Brussels? Why we only work in Flanders

Short answer: EPC Expert only works in Flanders, within 30 km around Tervuren. A PEB certificate (certificat PEB, the Brussels equivalent of the EPC) in the Brussels-Capital Region requires a separate accreditation as a PEB certifier, and we do not have it. If you live in a Flemish municipality on the edge of Brussels, such as Kraainem or Wezembeek-Oppem, the Flemish system applies and we can help. Status: 14 October 2026.
Why not in Brussels?
Each region has its own rules and its own accreditation. Our accreditation as a type A energy expert is valid for the Flemish Region. The Brussels-Capital Region works with PEB certifiers, a separate accreditation. Always check this with Brussels Environment before you place an order.
Where do we work?
In all Flemish municipalities within 30 km around Tervuren, in Dutch, French or English. That includes the Flemish periphery around Brussels and the municipalities with language facilities Kraainem, Wezembeek-Oppem, Wemmel, Sint-Genesius-Rode, Linkebeek and Drogenbos. Even if the property is close to Brussels, what counts is the municipality: if it lies in Flanders, the Flemish rules apply.
